Here's your chance to put it to the test!
The salsa making contest is the highlight of the festival with amateur, professional, and restaurant competitors offering their recipe for the public to sample. Official Salsa
Festival judges will present the coveted Three Rivers Salsa Champion Awards, as well as a $1,000 cash prize to the amateur winner! The public can vote for their favorite
salsa in the People's Choice category. With a grand prize of $1,000, you can expect salsa makers to travel from miles around to enter their recipe! Will your
recipe make you the next Salsa Champion, or will you fall victim to the spice of your competitors?  Competitors check in at the event between 9:30am and 10:30am. The salsa tasting
will take place from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Awards will be presented at 4:00pm on the Salsa Festival Main Stage. The people of Three Rivers would like to thank the Three Rivers
Lions Club, the Three Rivers Rotary Club, and the Three Rivers Chamber of Commerce for contributing to the prize money which will be awarded to the 2008 Salsa Competition Winners.
Winners in the commercial division will receive a plaque and winners in the restaurant division will be awarded the traveling trophy. |
